IDL Consulting is a global partnership of outstanding lawyers with many years of experience at leading international firms and corporates. Within our constantly growing network of professionals, we are setting up teams for projects of any level of complexity in different parts of the world.

However, our conceptually new business model allows us to reduce clients’ costs while engaging most senior lawyers and quickly adapt our teams to the changing needs of the clients.

Deep involvement of most senior lawyers in all aspects of the project does not lead to the increase of client’s costs.
We do not need to train junior lawyers at the client’s expense. Project teams are flexible and can be adapted to the client's needs.

Denis Ivanov has over 22 years of experience in the legal profession. During his work for leading international law firms (Clifford Chance, Cleary Gottlieb and Latham & Watkins) and in his own practice, he completed a lot of unique and large-scale projects.

Many of the projects done by Denis Ivanov received multiple awards and were the first of their kind in Russia:
- The first issuance of mortgage-backed securities by Agency for Housing Mortgage Lending (apart from structuring and execution, the work included drafting amendments to the legislation).
- Secondary public offerings for Sberbank ($5.2 bn), VTB ($3.3 bn), first ever full-fledged IPO of a Russian insurance company (Renaissance Insurance).
- Sale of outstanding shares and issuance of new shares by OGK-4, then the largest non-oil and gas direct investment in Russia ($5.7 bn).
- Eurobond restructuring for NLMK ($2.3 bn).
- The first ever “true sale” securitization (Bank Soyuz).
